Almond milk Rose Chai Latte

INGREDIENTS

Tea

1 piece ginger 

1 cinnamon stick 

1 tsp grounded cloves 

2 cardamon cloves

1 tsp loose black tea 

1 tsp black pepper 

1 cup almond milk 

1 cup water 

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp sweeter of your choice like maple syrup(I used monk fruit drops )

1 tbsp rose petals (edible)

For the color 

I blended a small piece of root beet with a splash of water, but you can always used beet root powder strain it to remove the pulp after.

 

LET THE FUN BEGIN 

Using a small pan, add all the tea ingredients, except milk. Let it boil for 4-5 minutes. Meanwhile, make the color mixture.
When your tea is ready, use a filter, pour the tea in your favorite cup or mug, and add the color mixture, followed by the milk. Sprinkle more rose petals.
