Ingredients
1 apple
1 tablespoon of water
1 tablespoon maple syrup
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup oat milk
½ cup GF rolled oats
2 tablespoons peanut butter or your choice
1 tablespoon pecans or walnuts optional but recommended
1 tablespoon chia seeds
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
⅓ cup unsweetened almond yogurt that kite hill used to make
- Cut the apple into a bite and add it to a medium skillet.
- Add the water, maple syrup, and cinnamon to the skillet.
- Cook over medium-high heat and let the apples soften for about 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove the pot from the heat and allow the apple chunks to cool.
- Add the other half of the apple to the bottom of the glass jar.
- Add all the other ingredients to the jar and mix to combine.
- Add the cooked apple chunks on top.
- Cover and let it sit overnight in the fridge.
- The next day, top with some yogurt, and you can add more nuts on top if you like.
