Healthy Coconut Horchata

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cup unsweetened  shredded coconut / flakes 

4 cups of warm water 

1 cinnamon stick 

1 date (optional)

1 tsp vanilla extract

 

LET THE FUN BEGIN

Add your ingredients to a blender. Blend for 4 minutes ( this is the key for a creamy and dreamy “milk”). When ready using a nut bag, pour your milk into the bag and squeeze to extract all the water from the pulp.
When you finish extracting all the water, store your milk in a glass container and enjoy!
